ALLOWAY, James A. Of Flint, age 84, died Friday, January 23, 2015 at Select Specialties-McLaren. Cremation has taken place. James was born in Flint, Michigan on March 17, 1930, the son of Roy and Mary Alloway and was a resident of the Flint area all of his life.He was an avid sportsman. Mr. Alloway was employed by Fisher Body-Grand Blanc for 38 years, retiring in 1988. He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Kathleen Meyer, Christine Alloway, James A. Alloway and Michael Alloway; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; his constant companion, Joy Wharram. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary.
