Mary Beth Anderson, 67, of New London, died suddenly Sunday, January 25, 2015 at her daughter's home in Johnston, Iowa.
Mrs. Anderson was born January 7, 1948 in Keota Iowa, the daughter of Clarence Gaylord and E. Bernice McJunkin Fulton. On January 21, 1991, she married Jim Anderson in Las Vegas. She was a Mediapolis high school graduate and worked at Motorola in Mt. Pleasant, the Des Moines County Sheriff's Office, and at Hagerla's in West Burlington. With her husband, she owned and operated Walgren's Market and later Main Street Market in New London. She enjoyed crocheting, bicycling, reading, gardening and flowers, her cat Charlie, and especially spending time with her family.
