She attended Midway United Methodist Church. Mrs. Coakley loved to cook and garden as long as her health permitted. She was a kind and loving woman, who helped take care of others.

Survivors include three stepdaughters and their spouses: Gwen and Daryl Bible of Midway, and Linda and Bill Harris and Patricia Coakley of Mosheim; three stepsons and their spouses: David and Stella Coakley, Frank and Billie Coakley and Carroll and Debby Coakley, all of Mosheim; and several stepgrandsons, a stepgranddaughter, stepgreat-grandsons and stepgreat-granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Eugene Coakley; a stepson: Robert Coakley; and her parents: George and Rachael Susong.
