JOHN AUSTIN BURGER, 64, passed away on May 17, 2010. Following his graduation from the University of Texas, he began his career as a Certified Public Accountant. He had a great love for the outdoors, fly-fishing, bird hunting, baseball, and his children. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vera and Ted Burger, and his brother, Fred. He is survived by his daughter, Mary Sommers Pyne, her husband Sam, and their children, Marguerite and Camille of Houston, Texas; his son, Austin Burger, Austin's wife Linda, and their son, Oscar, of Stamford, Connecticut. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 20, 2010 at Palmer Memorial Episcopal Church, in St. Bede's Chapel, 6221 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's memory to the Harvard Brain Tissue Resource Center MRC, Mail Stop #138, McLean Hospital, 115 Mill Street, Belmont, MA 02478, Attn: Maureen Medeiros or to the Boy Scouts of America, www.scouting.org.
