Robert William Stevens, age 87, of 2415 Kellner Street, Manitowoc died on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Manitowoc Health & Rehabilitation Center of Manitowoc.
Bob was born on September 23, 1927, in Iron Mountain, MI son of the late William and Irene (Martell) Stevens. Bob served in the U. S. Army and U. S. Navy during WW II and the Korean War. On September 19, 1953 he married the former Nona June Huebner at Chicago, IL.
Bob is survived by his wife: Nona J. Stevens, Manitowoc; his two sons and one daughter-in-law: Robert C. Stevens, Appleton; John P. (Lynn) Stevens, Dearborn, MI; two grandchildren: Shawn Stevens, Howell, MI; Robert W. Stevens Jr., Baxter, TN; one sister: Joanne Birringer, Manitowoc; four sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law: Dorothy Stevens, Sheboygan Falls; Ione Brick; Lloyd (Inez) Huebner; Wayne (Diane) Huebner, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: one brother: Donald Stevens; one sister-in-law and four brothers-in-law: Milton Birringer; Elton Huebner; Ruth (Harry) Teteak; Delmar Brick.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, January 29, 2015 at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, 818 State Street, Manitowoc. Rev. Thomas Pankow will officiate. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Grace Ev.
