John H. Gustavson, 30, Mishicot businessman and former steward on lake steamers, died at the Holy Family hospital on Tuesday afternoon after a long illness. He was born 1915 at Merrill, Wis., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hans Gustavson. The family moved to Two Rivers in 1917 when he attended
the public schools. He was graduated from Washington high school in 1932 and after graduation he worked on lake steamship lines. In 1942 he married Ione E. Anderla of Mishicot and the couple settled in that town. He is survived by his wife; parents; three brothers, Forest and Grant of Two Rivers and Chester of Milwaukee; one sister, Mrs. Aelrid Gagnon of Sheboygan. Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Friday at the Specht funeral home in Mishicot, and at 9 a.m. at the Holy Cross Catholic church in Mishicot. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Holy Cross cemetery in Mishicot. Manitowoc Herald Times, Wednesday, March 21, 1945 P 12 ********

Gentlemen: In accordance with the duties which are provided for in the Statutes, I beg leave to
submit my report of all proceedings and hearings relative to patients committed to the Wisconsin General Hospital for treatment since the filing of my last report up to and including January 1, 1937.
