He was born on September 17, 1958 in Elkhart, Indiana to Richard and Ellen (Hollowell) Adams Sr. Surviving are his fiance, Katherine Overmyer of Elkhart; six sons; Michael (Abbie) Adams & Duane (Bonnie) Adams of Paris, Illinois, Mark (Amber) Brown and Jerry Walters of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Randy (Jenny) Brown of Goshen, Indiana and Chris Beery of Elkhart, a daughter, Heather (Lambert) Bracken of Paris, Illiois, seventeen grandchildren, two sisters, Nancy (Michael) Tourre of Elkhart and Carol Shook of Blacksburg, Virginia, a brother, Raymond Adams of Elkhart and a step-father, Robert Hook of Elkhart.
A brother, Richard L. Adams Jr. preceded him in death.
Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. Tuesday at Stemm Lawson Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Boulevard, Elkhart where services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday. Burial will follow at Olive Cemetery West in Elkhart, Indiana.
Mr. Adams served in the U.S. Army and was a truck driver for Bohren Inc. of Garrett, Indiana. He loved his grandchildren, ZZ Top, Dallas Cowboys Football and the NASCAR driver, Tony Stewart
