A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. Friday at Brush Prairie Baptist Church for Margaret Euretta Bobst , who died Monday, Jan. 29, 2001, in Vancouver. She was 89.

Mrs. Bobst was a retired elementary school teacher who taught in Battle Ground schools.

She was born June 9, 1911, in Plainview, Minn., and lived in Clark County the past 73 years. Her maiden name was Fuller.

Her husband, Donald, died in 1953. Her son, Charles, died in 1959.

Survivors include one son, Bruce of Vancouver; one sister, Anita Resleff of Cheney, Wash.; three brothers, Charles Fuller of Camas, Robert Fuller of Auburn, Wash., and Myles Fuller of Chico, Calif.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Bobst was a member of Brush Prairie Baptist Church and Southwest Washington Retired Teachers Association. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, gardening and walking.

A private burial will be in Park Hill Cemetery. The casket will be open from 7 to 9 tonight at Layne's Funeral Home in Battle Ground.
