Deanna H. Mansir, a resident of Wiscasset and West Melbourne, Fla., passed away on Monday, Jan. 26, 2015, peacefully at her home in Wiscasset, after a courageous battle with cancer. Deanna was born on March 15, 1942, raised in Dresden and graduated from Bridge Academy. She was one of six children, born to the late Bernard and Esther Bailey.

She was the beloved wife of Richard E. Mansir for over 55 years.

Deanna will be forever remembered by her loving sisters, Sylvia Jones, Reta Lemar, Bernadine Bailey and Mavis Hinckley; her beloved children, Denise Sutter, Darryl Mansir and Darren Mansir; her treasured grandchildren, Jason Sutter, Jeffery Sutter, Brian Sutter, Justan Mansir, Crystal Mansir, Victoria Rosario and Matthew Mansir; along with countless other friends and family who were blessed to know her.

Deanna loved listening to gospel music, going to Israel and being with her family. Deanna touched the lives of many people with her smile and generosity and maintained her trademark sense of humor all the way to the end.

Burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery in Dresden in the spring.
