Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Monaco was born in Hastie and had lived in the Des Moines area many years. She was a homemaker and also worked for Look Magazine and the Des Moines School Board. She was a member of Open Bible Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Virginia Conklin, Vivian Warburton and Toni Burgess, all of Des Moines; a son, Monty of Salt Lake City, Utah; a sister, Shirley Allred of Des Moines; nine grandchildren; seven greatgrandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hamilton's Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation in Des Moines.
