Johnny Raymond Chumney, 64, of Cedar Grove, TN passed away Friday, January 30th, at his home. He was a member and Deacon at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. Johnny is survived by his wife, Joy Chumney; two daughters, Kimberly Loukota, of Cedar Grove, TN; Leslie (Brandon) Christy, of White Bluff, TN; his mother, Dorothy Chumney, of Yuma, TN; two sisters, Lawanda Kay (Wallace) Taylor, of Yuma, TN; Mary Sue (Donnie) Brown, of Lexington, TN; a brother, James Ray (Tammie) Chumney, of Lexington, TN. He is also survived by 4 Grandchildren, Alec Hodgin, Carson Christy, Johnna Barnes and Anna Claire Christy; 2 Great-Grandchildren, Jayden and Addie Barnes. He was predeceased by his father, John R. Chumney and a sister, Reba Ann McBride. His Funeral Service will be at Reed's Chapel, Lexington, TN, at 2 PM on Sunday, February 1st, with Bro. Phil Mitchell and Bro. Micah Renfroe officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Cedar Grove. Visitation will be Saturday 4 PM - 8 PM and Sunday 12 PM until service.
