BLOOMFIELD -- Leo H. Hardin, 72, of Cox's Creek, KY, entered eternal rest Tuesday, September 9, 2003, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. Leo was a native of Washington County, KY, a farmer and a partner in H&H Farm Equipment.

He was the beloved husband of Doris Peavler Hardin; father of Pamela Best, Paula Hutchins, Beth Zahneis and Darrell Hardin; and brother of Elizabeth Fischer, Louise Hughes, Reva Smothers and Loran Hardin. Four grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services for Leo H. Hardin will be at 11 a.m. Friday, September 12, 2003, at Bloomfield Baptist Church, with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery. Friends may kindly call from noon-8 p.m. Thursday at Houghlin Funeral Home. Additional visitation will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the church until the time of the service. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Bloomfield Baptist Church Building Fund.
