She was an avid Pacers fan, enjoyed bowling and arts and crafts, and was a member of the Eagles Women's Auxiliary, the Ladies Auxiliary VFW, and the Civil Air Patrol.
She is survived by one son, Tony (Barb) Cox, Sheridan; one daughter, Lynnette (Greg) Landwehr, Fishers; five grandchildren, Chris (Brandy) Cox, Kenneth Winner, Cyndi (Tommy) Buffum, Shane Cox, and Joella Cox; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Dan (Oliene) Padgett, and Mike (Julie) Padgett; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Sheridan Six Point Wesleyan Church, 1545 W. 226th St., Sheridan, IN 46069, with a memorial service following at 3 p.m. with Pastor Steve Martin officiating. Burial will take place in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery in Kokomo.
