Bernice M. Anderson -- St. Charles

ST. CHARLES -- The funeral for Bernice M. Anderson will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Faith Lutheran Church in St. Charles, with the Rev. Chris Croghan officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery in St. Charles.

Mrs. Anderson, 86, of St. Charles, died Sunday (Jan. 30, 2000) at Whitewater Healthcare Center in St. Charles.

Bernice M. Woodward was born Jan. 24, 1914, in Fremont, Minn. She married Clarence G. Anderson on Jan. 28, 1931, at North Prairie Lutheran Church. He died on May 2, 1997. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in St. Charles.

Survivors include one son, Larry of Inver Grove Heights, Minn.; one daughter, Betty (Mrs. Dick) Hanson of Minneapolis; two grandchildren; one brother; and five sisters. She was also preceded in death by one son, two brothers and one sister.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hoff Funeral Homes-St. Charles Chapel and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church.
