Err. M Forysthe, 54, maintenance engineer of the Southside plant of the Kennedy Valve Manufacturing Company, died Saturday afternoon, Apr. 18, 1936 after a brief illness. An enthusiastic bowler, Mr. Forsythe was well known as a member of the Kennedy Hydrants and Willys-Morrow bowling leagues. He learned the trade of a pattern maker from his father 40 years ago, later was employed by the old Elmira Bridge Company and then by the Kennedy Valve Company. He is survived by his wife, three sons, John L. of Carlyle, Pa., Thomas J., of New York and Richard E. of Elmira; one daughter, Dorothy; a sister, Mrs. J. B. Westervelet, and one brother, George. The funeral will be held Tuesday at 8:15 a.m. in the home, 200 Guinnip Avenue and in the SS Peter and Paul Church at 9 a.m. Burial in SS Peter and Paul Cemetery.
