She married Johnnie Lee Ponciano, and gave birth to 4 daughters; Trina Lee Ponciano (1960), Janie Lynn Ponciano (1961), Loura Lee Ponciano (1963), Lonnie Lynn Ponciano (1968), and 1 son; Johnnie Lee Ponciano Jr. (1968). All were born in Glenn County, California. Her husband Johnnie Lee Ponciano Sr. passed away in 1974 in a motorcycle accident in Sacramento, California. Shortly thereafter, Daisy moved back to Glenn County with her family, and married Walter Kreiter. At some point before the 1990s, Daisy and Walter moved to Crescent City, California, where she lived the rest of her life, until passing away on February 2nd, 2013. Her ashes were scattered after her death.
