Nashua Mrs. Anna Cronin, 79, of Nashua, formerly of Des Moines. Wednesday night in St. Joseph's hospital at New Hampton; suffered a stroke the Friday before; born in Bremer county, near Waverly, Apr. 1, 1868, daughter of Patrick and Mary Boylson; grew to womanhood there and taught in rural schools before her marriage to John Cronin at Waverly Mar. 1, 1892; couple made their home at Algona; Mr. Cronin died, in 1910 and Mrs. Cronin continued to live at Algona, moving later to Des Moines; leaves son, Attorney John Cronin, Nashua; two daughters, Bernice, Des Moines; Mrs. H. R. Thomas, Beverly Hills, Cal,; one sister, Mrs, Louis Anholt, Waverly; six grandchildren; funeral, 9 a. m. Monday in St. Michael's Catholic church at Nashua; burial at Des Moines; Mrs. Thomas was released Friday from a hospital in Beverly Hills, Cal., following major surgery, and with Bernice Cronin, who had been visiting her, left by plane Friday for Nashua to attend the funeral
