Veva was the daughter of Guy and Mable (VanAuker) Cone. She married Loyd (Tom) Botsford on Jan. 22,1939 in Portland, Mi. The couple moved to Houghton Lake in 1945, Once living in Houghton Lake she worked at the Houghton Lake Elks lodge for many years. She was a member of the Houghton Lake Does, where she served as president in the early 1970's.
She will be remembered for her "gift of gab" and for the love she had for her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband,Tom Botsford,her twin sister, along with two other sisters and one brother.
