Steven P. Campbell, 69, longtime Jackson Lake area resident, died Thursday, January 29, 2015 at the Medical Center of The Rockies in Loveland.

Steve was born June 13, 1945 in Meadville, Pennsylvania to Steven & Josephine Campbell. He has lived in the Weldona/Jackson Lake area since the 80’s.

Steve drove a truck for the majority of his life, first on the Alaskan Pipeline and then for King Supers for over 30 years while operating a truck of his own. In 1995 Steve started his business, Campbell Custom Services, serving the Jackson Lake Property Owners Association and the surrounding community.

Steve was a generous man that was always willing and ready to help others. He was most passionate about his cooking and barbecuing that fed many.

Steve is survived by his wife, Erin Hart of Lakewood; his four children, Gino SanFelice of Woodland Park, Mike Linton and his wife Jessica of Jackson Lake, and Amanda Hart and Amber Hart, both of Lakewood; his four grandchildren, Darian SanFelice, Giovanni SanFelice, Stevie Ray Linton, and Redmond Emmitt Linton.

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Steven Richard SanFelice.

A service to celebrate Steve’s life will be Saturday, February 7th at 11:00 AM at the Wiggins Community Church, 423 Dixon Street in Wiggins. There will also be a dinner held in memory of Steve at the JLPOA Clubhouse following the services.

To help a child in need as Steve would do, friends may make memorial donations to Children’s Hospital, 1830 Franklin Street, Denver, CO 80218.
