Edna Radine Hayes-Allen, 76, of Granite City, Illinois passed away at 3:10 a.m. on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City.

She was born June 27, 1938 in Dover, Tennessee, a son of the late Raymond Rodney and Lottie Lucille (Dunnaway) Causey.

She married Harold Dean Allen on January 2, 2002 in Granite City and he passed away.

She retired in 2002 from St. Elizabeth Hospital in Granite City after 32 years of dedicated service as a diet technician.

She enjoyed her trips to Tunica and will be remembered for the love and special times shared with her family and friends.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Rodney Lee (Patricia) Hayes Sr. of Granite City; a daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda (Ray) Allen of San Diego, California; grandchildren, Rodney Lee (Crystal) Hayes Jr. of Granite City, Rory (Kateesha) Hayes of Granite City, Heather Helene (Ashton) Hayes of Fenton, Missouri, Seth Allen James, Shaun Michale James, Kelly Perez and Natasha Lomeli, all San Diego, California; four great grandchildren, Trevor Lee Hayes, Patrick Allen Perez, Ethan Thomas Perez and Keegan Riley Perez; dear sister-in-law, Patsy Causey of Mayfield, Kentucky; many nieces; nephews; other extended family and friends.

In addition to her beloved husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Scott Howard Hayes; a brother, John Causey; sister, Jeanette Wimberley and former husband, Jake L. Hayes.

In celebration of her life, visitation will be at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City on Friday, February 6, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Bill Davison officiating.

Burial will be at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon.

Memorials may be made to Jesus Place Mission, P.O. Box 1500, Granite City, IL 62040 and may be accepted at the funeral home.
