Peter Abadie, forty-one, died at a local hospital Saturday morning following a brief illness, having been taken seriously ill Thursday with pneumonia.
A native of France, he came to the United States twenty-one years ago. For the past twenty years he had resided in eastern Nevada, being engaged in sheep raising, making his home in Ely during the past year.
The deceased was unmarried and leaves a brother living in Los Banos, California.
