She was born in Granite Falls, N.C. on March 12, 1924. She was a graduate of Alexander Wilson High School and was a member of Hawfields Presbyterian Church all of her adult life. She was an excellent homemaker and seamstress. She assisted her husband, James, in his construction company as bookkeeper for 40 years. She was a loving caregiver through the years for family and neighbors.
She is survived by a daughter; two sons; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister; and a sister-in-law.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, James Everett Albright; parents, Ozzie James and Juanita Carter Mundy; brothers, James Willard Mundy and Boyce Irvin Mundy (infant).
A celebration of life was conducted at Hawfields Presbyterian Church on Saturday, February 7, 2015, at 2 p.m. Officiating will be Rev. David Ealy of Hawfields Presbyterian Church. Burial was in the Hawfields Cemetery.
