EASTON: Clifford R. Estep, 74, of rural Easton, IL, died at 8 a.m. Saturday, June 27, 1987 at his residence.
Born February 15, 1913, in Easton to Bert and Hattie Hovey Estep, he married Eva Frances Vaughn on May 10, 1938, in Keokuk, Iowa. She died November 16, 1984.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Paul (Janice) Tomlin of Decatur; four grandchildren; two brothers, Clyde Joseph (#92705076) of Easton and Clayton (#54577482) of Creve Coeur; and one sister, Mrs. Eileen McCallister of Springfield.
He was a farmer in the Easton area his entire life.
Services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana. The Rev. Steve Harris officiated.
Burial was in Walkers Grove Cemetery near Easton, IL.
