Mrs. Hattie E. Jones, 83, formerly of Eldorado, died Saturday evening at the Cedar Springs Nursing Home near New Paris, after a lengthy illness. She was a member of the Old German Baptist Church south of Eldorado.
Survivors include: two sons, Lloyd Jones, West Alexandria, and Leroy Jones, of Richmond, Ind.; three daughters, Mrs. Garland McLear, Richmond, Mrs. Elwood Kress, Dayton, and Mrs. Harold Guyston, Xenia, two half brothers, Earl Fitzwater, Wayne Lakes, Greenville; two half-sisters, Mrs. Susanna Stutz, Arcanum, and Mrs. Mildred Albisa, Sarasota, Fla., 13 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Services for Mrs. Jones were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Old German Baptist Church with Herman Shewman of Pendleton, Ind., and Raymond Coning of Eldorado officiating.
