He was born in Wewoka, OK on October 23, 1927.
He was a Merchant Marine and then proudly served as US Marine. Mr. Denson was an avid sportsman, former professional Boxer and a furniture store owner.
He is survived by his two sons, Milton Denson and Jesse Denson; sister, Deloris Clark; brother, Lowell Edward Denson "Spike"; granddaughter, Alissa Danielle Denson; step granddaughter, Paula Lynn Dawkins; and great grandchild, Kendall Danille Fergie.
Mr. Denson was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse James & Mattie Gertrude Denson; siblings, Quentin, Juanita, Gladys, Gloria, Delmer, Jesse Lee, and Virginia Faye.
Service begins at 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 10 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home.
Interment will be at 2:30 p.m. at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
