Kevin (Jimbo) Gibbs was born February 11, 1959 and died on May 22, 1980 in a car accident. He is survived by his wife, Barb Pennington Gibbs and one son, Jeremy Gibbs. His parents, Ernest A. and Mabel (Robinson)Gibbs, and his siblings, Jan (Jerry) Chance, Doyle (Shirley) Gibbs, Terry Gibbs, Gary (Diana) Gibbs, Kenny (Kathy) Gibbs.
Barb and Jimbo were high school sweethearts and were married before graduation. Jimbo joined the service and the family of three moved to Louisiana and lived there until he finished his term and was honorably discharged. They had only been back in the St. Charles area about three months when Jimbo was killed. Barb's family had grown to love Jimbo very much, and his is still missed very much today.
