Man Found near Chelsea Bridge Proves to be Eugene Cunningham. Entertainer and Palmist
The body of the man discovered floating in the water near Chelsea Bridge last Friday has been identified as that of Eugene Cunningham, a theatrical man, palmist and astrologist.
The body was claimed by James Cunningham formally a patrolman of the Joy Street Station, who says Eugene was his brother.
The deceased was well known in Providence, Pawtucket, Woonsocket and Waterbury where he had appeared in the capacity of an entertainer under the assumed name of "Prof Von" and "Prof Von Humboldt"
Weather the death was accidental of premeditated is not known.
