Donna Ann Coleman, age 71, of Rigby, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2015 in Idaho Falls surrounded by her family.

Donna was born September 30, 1943, in Ogden, Utah, a daughter of Ruby Marlow and Horace Eugene Perry. She was raised and attended school in ­­­Rexburg.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many church callings in the Relief Society, Primary and Scouting. Donna married Arlo Coleman September 16, 1960, in Rexburg, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls L.D.S. Temple on April 6, 1988.

Her most important thing in life was family. She loved spending time with family, cooking for family gatherings, camping, family reunions, quilting, sewing, making crafts with grandchildren, and researching her ancestors. Her life’s work, in addition to raising her family, was compiling and writing extensive family history.



Survivors include her husband Arlo Coleman, her children Lynn (Tonya) Coleman , George Coleman, Michael (Aislinn) Coleman, Patricia (Mike) Thomas, siblings, Glenna (Aldon) Coleman, Viola (Deloy) Ward, Darwin Perry, Albert Perry, Elden Perry, sixteen grandchildren: Travis, Kristen, Lance, William, Brandon, Jessica, Michael, Erica, Makayla, Morgan, Brayden, Elyse, Kadison, Kinley, Logan, Mason, and eight great grandchildren.



She was preceded in death by a daughter Carma Jean Kaiser, her parents Horace and Ruby Perry, Delbert Perry, Allen Perry and her grandmother whom she was very close to, Myrtle Marlow.



Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at the Garfield L.D.S. Chapel, 71 North 3700 East, Rigby. The family will visit with friends on Monday evening at the Garfield L.D.S. Church from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Sugar City Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
