Marie was born July 19, 1936, in Alamosa, Colo., to Haskell and Zelia Hooten. She was a loving mother and beautiful inside and out.
Survivors include a son, Haskell of Clarendon; and four brothers, Harvey Hooten and Harley Hooten, both of Albuquerque, N.M., Carliss Hooten of Borger and Sheldon Hooten of Joplin, Mo.
