Mrs. Alma Rose, 28, of 510 Lexington Road, Eaton, was found dead early Sunday with a .22 caliber rifle bullet in her head. Her husband, Osa, discovered the body when he returned home from work. The shot entered the woman's right eye. A suicide note was found at the scene.
Surviving Mrs. Rose in addition to the husband are seven children, Connie Sue, Monte Allen, Cathy Jo, Douglas Edward, Michael Wayne, Patsy Ann and Roger Dale, all at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Arnold of Eaton and three brothers, Tom and Charles of Eaton and Kenneth of Miamisburg.
Services will be conducted Wednesday (today) at the Barnes Funeral Home with Rev. E. Dwight Bennett officiating. Burial will be in the Monroe Cemetery.
