Born Feb. 4, 1987 to Richard W. and Elaine G. Swank Lohr, he was a student at Bluffton High School.
He moved with his family to Bluffton in 1994. Prior to that, they lived in Salem, Ohio. He was active in the football and baseball programs at Bluffton High School and at the age of nine, he received his First Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwondo.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two grandmothers, Stella Lohr, of Lake Milton, Ohio, and Claudette Swank, of Damascus, Ohio; and two half-brothers, Eric Lohr and Jennings Lohr both of Niles, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Wilford Lohr and Russell E. Swank.
