Kathleen Winnifred (Armstrong) Appleby, age 75 of Economy, passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2007, in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born in Kempt Shore, she was a daughter of the late Feteham and Alice (Parker) Armstrong. Kathy is survived by son Tony (Diana), Langley, BC; stepdaughter Pat Appleby (Rod), Hope, BC; daughter-in-law Elaine Redden, Kempt shore; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; brother Lorimer (Joan) Armstrong; as well as many nieces and nephews. Beside her parents, Kathy was predeceased by her husband Raymond Appleby; son Gary Redden; brother Stanley Armstrong, and sisters Jessie, Phyllis, Clare and Lucy. A graveside service was held on Sunday, April 22, at 2 p.m. in Kempt Shore Cemetery, Rev. Garnet Parker officiating. Following the graveside service, there was a reception in Summerville District Fire Hall, Summerville.
