Charles W. Morefield was born in Palo Alto, California on November 20, 1964, a son of Charles T. and Betty Cordelia Fields Morefield.

He was a 1982 graduate of Murphysboro High School, and attended ITT Electronics School in Evansville, Indiana. He was employed at Pizza Hut in Evansville.

Charles died Wednesday, August 21, 1985, in St. Mary’s Hospital in Evansville, from injuries received in a motorcycle accident on Wednesday afternoon.

He is survived by his father and step-mother, Donna Jo, of Murphysboro; two sisters, Tammy Renay of St. Louis, Missouri, and Krystal Helena Morefield of Livermore, California; a brother, Douglas Basil Morefield of Livermore; and paternal grandmother Anna Mae Stevens of Murphysboro.

He was preceded in death by his mother who died in 1975.

Burial in the Boucher Cemetery.
