Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., 8:30 a.m. until religious services, 10 a.m. Monday, conducted by Dr. John Goodwin. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by wife, Vinita C. Connelly, Baton Rouge; two sons, Michael R. Connelly, Baton Rouge, and Richard C. Connelly, Arlington, Texas; and five grandsons. He was a former scout master for Boy Scouts of America and member of National Geological Association.
