Haack, Charles E. Born October 2, 1921. Passed away May 21, 2012. Charlie was born in Milwaukee, WI. When WWII started, he enlisted in the Marine Corps and was deployed in the 1st Marine Division, Air Corps Wing to Guadalcanal, servicing planes on Henderson Field. Following the war he attended Purdue University studying engineering. In 1949, he married Cathlyn Hefter and became the proud father of 3 children. In 1977, he married the love of his life, Virginia Momblow, who preceded him in death in 1992. He was an insurance investigator and underwriter. He is survived by his sons, Richard Haack (Becky), Dan Haack (Debbie) and his daughter, Laurel Haack (Pody); his step-children, Kim Jordan, Pam Beaver (Jim), Tim Jordan (Joy) and Lori Andritsos (Tom); his grandchildren Geoffrey, Daniel, Jason, Meaghan, Erin, Lisa, Kim, Tami, Demian, Katy, Jason, Alysa, Jamie, Morgan, Emma Jean and Colton and great - grandchildren Steven and Ryan, and granddogs Charlie, Joe, Missy and Lilo. He cherished his family, friends and the special animals in his life. Cremation took place in Grand Junction, CO and a graveside service will be held at Arlington Park Cemetery, Greenfield, on May 29, 2012, at 11:30AM.
