Destiny was murdered by her mothers 17 yr.old boyfriend, Johnny Earl Jones while babysitting while her mother was at work on Friday, June 10, 2005. Little Miss Destiny died from blunt force trauma to the abdomen, it was speculated that she may have been sexually assalted. Destiny was born in Colorado Springs, CO the daughter of Melissa Foote Ward of Phenix City and Larry Ward of Colorado Springs, CO. Aniyah was a beautiful child and a perfect little angel. She will be greatly missed by all. Survivors other than her parents include her brother Ajveious Ward of Phenix City, Maternal great grandmother Mary Clegg Bruce of Phenix City, Maternal grandparents Cheryl & Billy Foote of Phenix City, Paul Rose of Rinyeville, KY, Paternal Grandparents: Delores Ward of Columbus and Larry Ward of MI.
