Titanic Victim. He was a third class passenger on board the RMS Titanic. He boarded the ship on April 10th in Southampton, England. His occupation was listed as a farmer. He died in the sinking of the Titanic at the age of 42. His body was recovered by the MacKay-Bennett and buried at sea on April 24th.Norway, Adolf was married to Olivie Fuglefjord and they had a farm in Borgund, near Alesund Norway.

He boarded the Titantic on 10 April 1912, traveling with a family friend, Anna Salkjelsvik. He shared a cabin with Olaus Abelseth.

Adolf did not survive and was buried at sea from the recovery ship CS Mackay Bennett on 24 April 1912.

For each victim Canon Hind, assistant priest at Halifax Cathedral, offered the following prayer:

"For as much as it has pleased Almighty God to take unto Himself the soul of our dear brother departed, we therefore commit his body to the deep to be turned to corruption: looking for the resurrection of the body (when the sea shall give up her dead) and the life of the world come, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who shall change our vile body, that it may be like unto His glorious body, according to the mighty working whereby He is able to subdue all things to Himself"
