Here lie the remains of my 2x Great Grandfather, of which I am only able to know through the bits and pieces of history that white supremacy didn't erase. He fought for a country that didn't appreciate him enough to have an accurately documented history on him. Never knowing him personally, he will always be remembered by us.

His date of death is an estimation of the last documented information on him, which is from the June 1890 Veteran schedules. He was listed as having heart disease and was 70 years old, it can only be assumed that he succumbed to it on or after 1890.Had it not been for the "accidental" destruction of the 1890 census, we could have possibly found more information.
