Leonard O. Kasten, 76, 5009 Hwy. J, town of Weston, died Monday, October 24, 1988, at the Wausau Hospital Center. He was born May 12, 1912, Wausau, the son of William and Ottilia Kasten.
He married Hattie Borchardt, Nov., 2, 1935, in Wausau. She died March 7, 1968. He married Millie Dembrock, Oct. 16, 1971. She died Feb. 22, 1985. He had retired after 41 years as a mechanic for the Marathon County Highway Department.
Survivors include two daughters; Arietta Kamke, Schofield, and Bonnie Ness, Green Bay; one stepdaughter, Shirley Taylor, Jacksonville, Fl.; three sons, Dave, James and Kenneth Kasten, all of Schofield; and 12 grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Hayden Funeral Home, Schofield. The Rev. Donald E. Baumann, St. Paul's United Church of Christ, will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau.
