Mary Lou Bond went to be with the Lord on February 12, 2015 in Norman, Oklahoma. She was born in Shady Point, Oklahoma on February 12, 1936 and resided with her great-granddaughter Kiyana Hibbert in Norman, Oklahoma at the time of her passing.
Mary spent her career as an educator for Little Axe public schools. She was also very active in her local church, Norman First American, as well as the Oklahoma City Pow-Wow Club. Mary was generous and caring and well-loved by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her father, Bolen Perry, her mother Zelma Sockey, her loving husband Ellis Lee Bond, Jr., and their son Ellis Lee Bond III. She is survived by her children Marilyn Bond, Anita Ann Bond Scott and her husband Richard, Patricia Myers and her companion Amos, and Ronald Bond and his companion Kay; her grandchildren Jacquelyn Bond, Christain Kotoucek and her husband Ladi, Lori Scott, Jimmy Scott and his wife Tracie, Dalton Scott and his wife Alysia, Michael Ross, Malachi Bond, Kiamichi Bond, and Tristen Bond; and her great-grandchildren Kiyana, Brenden, Lexi, Abigail, Hunter, Hayden, Callie, Marissa, Mia, Dalton Jr., and Makyiah.
Visitation will be held on Sunday February 15, 2015 from 1:00PM-9:00PM and Monday 9:00AM-5:00PM. Memorial Services will be held at John Ireland Funeral Home at 120 S. Broadway St. Moore, OK, 73160 on Monday February 16, 2015 at 7:00PM-9:00PM
