Alice Jeanette Lockhart, 91, Kokomo, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, February 11, 2015, at Howard Regional Health. She was born July 9, 1923, in Kokomo, to Walter Jay and Mae Belle (Stonebraker) Morr. On November 1, 1968, she married Raymond J. Lockhart, and he preceded her in death on October 24, 2000.

She graduated from Kokomo High School in 1942 and later worked at Kolux for over 25 years before retiring in 1984. In the 1940's, she played on a semi-pro fast pitch softball team that travelled all over the country. She enjoyed sewing, golfing, and listening to and being a part of music. She was an active member of Faith Presbyterian Church of Kokomo.

Survivors include her children, Carl F. "Bud" (Marilyn) McMullen, Kokomo, Marcia (Kent) Roach, Russiaville, and Mike Lewellyn, New Bern, North Carolina; grandchildren, Shandra (Chris) Wren, Kelly (Matt) Turner, Kerri Adams, Todd (Karen) Roach, Jennifer (Tim) Howell, Lauren (Bret) Cooper, John Adams, and Lyndsay (P.J.) Rocchio; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Stevens and Ruth Sherrill, Kokomo; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, John Adams; her second husband, Raymond Lockhart; a son, Jack Adams; and a brother, Bob Morr, Sr.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Brown officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
