A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, May 12, 1997, in Mount St. Joseph's Residence and Extended Care Center for Dorothy Farley, who died May 4 at age 87.
Miss Farley was born Sept. 20, 1909, in Marshfield. She graduated from Oregon State University and taught school before earning a master's degree in social work from Reed College. She worked for the state welfare department. She was a member of Fremont United Methodist Church.
There were no survivors.
Interment will be in Lincoln Memorial Park Mausoleum. Arrangements are by Mt. Scott Funeral Home.
