Veronica 'Roni' Clara Kleffner, born December 19, 1946 in Taylor, Texas, died February 13, 2015. She had incredible faith, however lost her battle to cancer.

She is preceded in death by parents Norbert and Irene Kleffner, brothers, Timothy and baby Joseph Anthony Kleffner.

She is survived by her sister Diane Bean; nieces and nephews: Yvonne Bean Gallant, Danny Gallant, Michelle and Rudy Galvan; great nieces Alyssa Sauceda and Kaitlynn Bustos, great nephews; Alex Bustos, JJ Sauceda and Gereson Gallant, aunts; Rita Poettker and Sr. Monica Kleffner, cousins; Lois Brandmeyer and Janet Heidemann and special friends; Sandy, Charlie, Bethany and David McEntire, Peggy Caron, Dee Poorman, Janie, Sal, and Randy Armstrong.

She was a member of St. Phillips Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters of America, ATPE, Officer of KJZT, and the Czech Heritage Society of South Texas.

She was a retired teacher from CCISD, she worked at Most Precious Blood School, Texas AFT, Del Mar College, was a Mary Kay Consultant, and at Corpus Christi Tourist Bureau.

She influenced many children's lives through teaching as well as a foster parent.

Visitation will be held at Cage-Mills Funeral Directors, 4901 Everhart Rd., with a Holy Rosary to be recited. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Phillip's Catholic Church, with interment to follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery. A reception will be held after the interment at St. Philip's Catholic Church.
