RILEY, Mason Jacob of Mesquite, born December 31, 1942, in Middletown, Ohio.
He had a very giving heart and never met a stranger. Instead of letting his adversities overcome him, he embraced them and learned to live with them. He was a fighter to the end. He loved fishing, telling jokes, showing magic tricks, and was an avid Dallas Mavericks fan. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and always had a good story to tell. Mason left us on April 21, 2005. He will be greatly missed.
Preceded in death by father, Frank Josh Riley & mother, Iva Mae Riley.
Survived by daughters, LeAnne Riley & Madeline Riley; son, Mason F. Riley; grandchildren, Matt Kersting, Rachel Kersting, Bradley Devereaux, Jr., Dylan Devereaux; great grandchild, Aeris Kersting; sisters, Phyllis Robinson, Jewell Watkins and Anne Inloes; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be 1:00PM Tuesday April 26, 2005 at the DFW National Cemetery, Dallas.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6:00PM - 8:00PM.
The family requests that in leiu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mason's name in care of New Hope Funeral Home.
