Edrie Horton
HORTON, Edrie Mae of Mesquite, born May 31, 1914, passed away March 21, 2005. Nana was a longtime business owner in Seagoville, TX. where she lived most of her life. She had many friends. She loved to sew, knit, quilt and other handiwork. She will be greatly missed by family, friends, and residents at the Waterford at Mesquite residence.

Preceded in death by husband, Marlin F. (Red) Horton and son-in-law, Robert O'Connor.

Survived by daughter, Frances Marlene O'Connor; grandsons-in-law, Boyd Fortin and Ed Jackson; sister, Flora Ann Pampa; grandchildren, Kim Jackson, Karyn O'Connor, Kristin Fortin, Jessica & Blaine Fortin and Rob Jackson.

Graveside services will be 2:00PM Thursday March 24, 2005 at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 301 E. Farmers Rd. in Seagoville.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6:00PM - 8:00PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Seagoville or St. Stephens United Methodist Church in Mesquite.
