Mack Edward Anderson, age 63, of Lawton, Oklahoma, died Tuesday, February 10, 2015, at an Oklahoma City medical center.

He was born Janusty 6, 1952, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, the son of Sangus B. and Emmaline (Johnson) Anderson

He was the youngest of four siblings. He accepted Christ into his life at a very young age.

He attended Douglass Elementary and St. Ann's Academy.

He later enlisted in the United States Army and served from 1969-1972.

He and Debra Chatman were married on June 13, 1973, and to this union four children were born.

He started his trucking career with Western Trucking for a short time. He attended American College of Truck Driving along with his wife in 1988, and they became a husband and wife truck driving team for Triple C. He later became an owner/operator for National Carriers, which was a huge accomplishment he worked hard for, and was very proud of. He also received an award for "2 million miles," for safety and without any accidents.

He loved his family dearly and loved cooking for them. His grandchildren meant the world to him. He absolutely loved driving trucks and the open highway. After 25 years of driving trucks, he was forced to retire due to his health.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Delbert Anderson.

He is survived by his wife, Debra, of the home; two sons, Kenneth Loggins (and wife, Ella) of Lawton and Ernest Thomas (and wife, Tiffany) of Fort Smith, Arkansas; Two daughters, Tasha Anderson (and husband, Roger)and Tiffany Anderson (and fiance,' Bryon), both of Lawton; two sisters: Sandra Cole and Elaine Williams, both of Fort Smith; and an adopted sister, Reginia Brown, of Grandfield; 18 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be at 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, February 17, 2015, at Howard-Harris Funeral Services, Lawton, with the Rev. Charles Loggins officiating.

Burial will be at Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin.
