Robert Lee "Bob" Pritchett, 76, of Rileyville, Virginia, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 15, 2015, in the Winchester Medical Center with his family by his bedside.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 20 at 2:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home conducted by Samuel Lee Campbell. Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Pritchett was born October 14, 1938, in Rappahannock County, Virginia, son of the late Ernest Lewis Pritchett, Sr. and Nellie Lillard Pritchett.
He was a retired master carpenter.
Mr. Pritchett enjoyed making and selling lawn furniture following his retirement. He also enjoyed golf and bowling.
Surviving are his wife, Lola K. "Sissie" Pritchett; his children, Roger L. Pritchett of Gulfport, Mississippi, Steve Wayne Pritchett (Teresa) of Augusta, Georgia, Cynthia Grady (James) of Woodstock, Edward Dean Pritchett (Shirley) of Boyce, and Robert Lewis Pritchett (Marie) of Jacksonville, Florida; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Mary Smith (James) of Front Royal, Edna Scott of Front Royal, Doris Dawson of Front Royal, Joyce Parsons (Paul) of Front Royal, Shirley Williams (Richard) of Front Royal, Janet Lafferty (James) of Stanley, and Sandra Stocktinski (Kim) of Front Royal.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Ernest Lewis "Buddy" Pritchett, Jr. and sister, Edna Whitworth.
Pallbearers will be Willie Alger, Allen Alger, Josh Alger, Joey Alger, Billy Miller, and Richard Williams.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
