GERALDINE MARIAN MYERS
Services will be held Monday for Geraldine Marian Myers who passed away in Fortuna November 22, 2000 at the age of 90.
She was a resident of Fortuna. A lifelong resident of Humboldt County, Mrs. Myers was born November 12, 1910 in Eureka. She was raised in Shively, and graduated from Fortuna Union High School in 1928. Mrs. Myers had made her home in Myers Flat for over 65 years prior to moving to Fortuna.
Mrs. Myers was an avid gardener and many people enjoyed seeing her beautiful garden and receiving the fruits of her labor. She had been an active member of Southern Humboldt Garden Club.
She is survived by her daughter Sue Tosten and her husband Everett of Fortuna; son Kenneth Myers of Portland, Oregon; brother Martin Stockell of Eureka. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews and other relatives.
She was proceeded in death by her husband Sidney Grant Myers in 1991 and three sons, Joseph in 1988, Sidney Jr. in 1996 and Robert in 1997.
Private family grave side services will be held Monday, November 27, 2000 at Sunrise Cemetery, Fortuna.
Arrangements under the direction of Goble's Chapel, Fortuna.
