Alberta M. Harris, 98, passed away April 18, 2016, in Huntingburg. She was born May 24, 1917, in Jasper, Indiana to Clem and Carrie (Seng) Fischer. She married Glenn F. Harris on September 16, 1933.
Alberta worked for Swift's, Kesling's Drug Store where she was known as "Grannie Bert", and at several other local businesses.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn F. Harris, who died October 29, 1984; two sons, Steve Harris and Jack Harris; one daughter, Glenda Turpin; two brothers, Andrew Fischer and Edward Fischer; and two sisters, Marie Schneider and Clara Striegel.
She was survived by:
