BULLETIN
Manitowoc—Frank Muench, 62, of Rt. 2, Cato, was killed about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in a tractor accident, it was reported by County Traffic Dept. at 2:40 p.m. The investigating officer said the body was discovered pinned over the broken steering wheel of Muench's tractor about noon by Edwin Fogeltanz, a neighbor. It appeared that Muench was backing the tractor up to a shed in order to hook a loading chain with the tractor and a spring tooth drag.

Frank A. Muench, 62, of Rt. 2, Cato, died Wednesday morning of injuries received in a tractor accident on his farm in the Town of Franklin.
Funeral services will be at 9:45 a.m. Monday at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville, and at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Joseph Kalisek officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Muench was born April 6, 1901, in the Town of Franklin, son of the late Frank and Barbara Hynek Muench. He attended Kellnersville Public and St. Joseph Parochial schools.
He married Eleanor Stransky at Francis Creek April 12, 1926, and the couple settled on the farm. Mr. Muench was a director and agent for the Manitowoc County Fire
Insurance Co. since 1942, agent of Hartland Cicero Mutual Insurance Co. of Seymour since 1945 and a director since 1956. He was presently president of Kellnersville Fire Dept., former treasurer of School District Jct. 9 from 1941-62, member of the Holy Name Society, Catholic Knights 114 of Kellnersville and was still an active usher of St. Joseph Church, having begun in that capacity when 18 years of age.

Surviving are his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Germaine) Kvitek and Mrs. Lester (Doris) Cherney, of Rt. 1, Whitelaw, and Mrs. John (Marlene) Kvitek, of Rt. 1, Maribel, a sister, Mrs. Frank Oswald, of Kellnersville, a brother, Joseph of Francis Creek and 10 grandchildren.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 7:30 p.m. Saturday where at 8 p.m. the Catholic Knights will recite the Rosary. At 7:30 p.m. Sunday the Holy Name
Society will recite the Rosary, and at 3 p.m. the parish will recite the Rosary with Msgr Kalisek.
